Job summary

A leading staffing agency in South Normanton is seeking Warehouse Reach Truck Drivers with PPT experience. The position involves safely moving products, operating various warehouse equipment, and participating in multiple warehouse operations including order picking and packing. Pay rates start from £13.17 per hour with a rota system allowing for 4 weeks of work followed by 2 weeks off while maintaining weekly pay. Candidates with accredited licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must hold accredited or in-house licenses for Reach Truck and PPT.
  • Open to participating in various warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Job description

The Best Connection is currently recruiting Warehouse Reach Truck Drivers, who also hold PPT experience for our well-known client based in South Normanton.

Licences:

We welcome candidates with accredited licenses as well as in-house licenses. There is also an opportunity to gain an accredited in-house license!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely move delivered products from vehicles into the warehouse, stacking and palletising as required
  • Transport pallets between warehouse racks using Reach Trucks and PPT Trucks
  • Operate a variety of warehouse equipment
  • PLEASE NOTE - this role also includes various warehouse duties, we are looking for a candidate open to taking part in all types of warehouse operations. I.e. Order picking, labelling, loading/unloading, material handling, packing, health and safety compliance
Hours & Pay:
  • Days: 08:00 - 16:00 (Monday to Friday) £13.17 per hour
  • Lates: 16:00 - 00:00 (Monday to Friday) £13.86 per hour
  • Pay rates above are calculated as the £12.48 standard rate, plus daily shift allowances

Once trained, you may move onto a rota system, dependant on department:

  • Work 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • During your time off, you will still receive 37.5 hour's pay per week
