Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a Heywood-based client for an experienced FLT Reach Truck Driver and PPT Driver to join their warehouse team.

The role is long-term with the potential to go permanent. Typical hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, £14.00 per hour, paid for 8 hours per day with an unpaid lunch break. Overtime is available and paid at time and a half, with two weeks' training on commencement.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach Truck licence required.
• Valid PPT licence required.
• Licences must be from a recognised accredited provider.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

FLT Reach Truck Driver / PPT Driver

Heywood

£14.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Heywood for an experienced FLT Reach Truck Driver / PPT Driver to join their warehouse team.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability and commitment.

Duties

• Order picking and preparing goods for dispatch
• Moving stock around the warehouse using PPT and Reach Truck
• General warehouse duties
• Manual handling of products up to 15kg
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Please note that this role is predominantly warehouse-based, with around 80% of the time spent picking and handling stock and around 20% operating FLT equipment.

Hours & Pay

• £14.00 per hour
• Paid for 8 hours per day
• Unpaid lunch break
• Typical hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm
• Some flexibility on start and finish times, providing 8 hours are worked
• Overtime available and paid at time and a half
• Two weeks' training provided on commencement

Requirements

• Valid and up-to-date Reach Truck licence
• Valid and up-to-date PPT licence
• Licences must be from a recognised accredited provider
• In-house licences cannot be accepted
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work at a good pace

Location

The site can be accessed by public transport, although the journey can be lengthy and may require travel via Rochdale. There may be opportunities for lift sharing with colleagues once established within the team.
