Job summary

The Recruitment Group seeks experienced FLT Reach Truck Drivers for a fast-paced contract packing site in Coalville. You will move stock between high-bay racking and co-pack lines, ensuring accurate paperwork and safe operations. A Reach Truck licence is preferred, with refresher training available if needed.

Shifts are 06:00–18:00 on a 4-on, 4-off pattern. On-site parking and staff facilities support consistent, predictable workdays and opportunities for long-term progression.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Reach Truck in FMCG, logistics or co-packing environments.
• Valid Reach Truck licence preferred; expired licences may be considered with refresher training.

Responsibilities

• Line replenishment to production lines to prevent downtime.
• High-bay stacking of finished pallet loads into racking.
• Inbound & outbound loading/unloading with Reach Trucks.
• Inventory checks and paperwork/scanner data accuracy.
• Maintain safety standards and follow warehouse traffic systems.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Reach Truck Drivers to join our fast-paced contract packing operation in Coalville. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping stock, raw materials, and finished goods moving efficiently between our high-bay racking and busy co-pack assembly lines. A valid, accredited Reach Truck licence (e.g., RTITB or ITSSAR) is preferred, but candidates with an expired licence will also be considered, with refresher training available where required.

Hours for the FLT Reach Driver:-

• 06:00 - 18:00 (12-hour shifts)

Shift Pattern for the FLT Reach Driver:-

• 4 Days On, 4 Days Off (Fixed Days)

Key Responsibilities for the FLT Reach Driver:-

• Line Replenishment: Move raw components and packaging materials to the production lines to prevent downtime.
• High-Bay Stacking: Put away finished, wrapped pallet loads safely into high-bay racking systems.
• Inbound & Outbound: Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently using Reach Trucks.
• Inventory Control: Complete visual quality checks on all loads and ensure paperwork or scanner data is accurate.
• Site Safety: Maintain high safety standards and adhere to warehouse traffic management systems at all times.

Key Requirement for FLT Reach Driver:-

• Reach Truck Licence: A valid, accredited Reach Truck licence (e.g., RTITB, ITSSAR) is preferred but not essential. Candidates with an expired licence may be considered, as refresher training can be provided.
• Experience: Proven experience operating a Reach Truck in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), logistics, or co-packing environment.
• Reliability: Comfort with committing to a 12-hour shift pattern on a 4-on, 4-off rotation.
• Communication: Good level of written and spoken English for paperwork and health and safety requirements.
