Job summary

Driver Hire Warrington & St Helens is seeking an experienced FLT Reach Driver for a Newton-le-Willows based, full-time permanent role to support a national customer base. You will operate a reach forklift, pick orders, load delivery vehicles, and keep the yard and warehouse tidy.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with start times around 7:00–8:30, typically 8–9 hours per day. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.50–£14.10, with overtime after 40 hours and no weekend or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Reach FLT licence required (in-house accepted).
• At least 1 year experience operating a reach FLT vehicle.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills.

Driver Hire Warrington are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a market leader in the steel supply industry.

This Newton-le-Willows based business are hoping to add an experienced FLT reach driver to their warehouse team, on a full time permanent basis, to help continue meeting growing demand from customers nationwide.

As an FLT reach driver, you will be responsible for carrying out general forklift duties, in addition to picking orders, loading delivery vehicles and keeping both the yard & warehouse organised at all times.

This role is ideal for someone seeking a healthy work-life balance. You will be required to work alternating shifts, with start times ranging from 7am to 8:30am. Shifts are typically 8-9 hours each day, taking place Monday to Friday. Therefore, you will NOT be expected to work weekends or night shifts at any point during your employment.

Successful applicants must have:

• A reach FLT licence (in-house accepted)
• At least 1 year experience of operating a reach FLT vehicle
• Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• The confidence to work independently
• The ability to complete tasks in an efficient manner
• Good communication skills
