Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an FLT C/B Operative to join their food production team on an ongoing basis. The role involves working in production areas, topping up pallets and supporting the start of the process, as well as unloading trucks with materials for the manufacturing line.

An independent FLT licence is mandatory, and induction with PPE is provided. Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:00–22:00, with an hourly pay rate of £16.17.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an FLT in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must have an independent FLT licence (not an in-house licence).

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT in production areas to top up pallets and assist at the start of the process.
• Unload trucks and trailers with materials needed for manufacturing.

Job description

A food production company are currently recruiting for a full time FLT C/B Operative to join there team on an ongoing basis. There is also optional overtime available as well.

As a FLT C/B Driver will be required to working in the production areas ensuring the pallets of products are kept topped up and the start of the process and also unloading trucks and trailers with various materials needed for the manufacturing process. You will need to have experience on the FLT as this is a fast paced and varied role.

Due to being a food environment as an FLT C/B Operative will need to wear full PPE including a hair net and beard snood. You FLT licence must be an independent licence not an In-House. Taken or refreshed in the last 3 years due to company insurance criteria.

Hours of work will be:

Mon - Fri: 12:00 - 22:00

Pay Rate £16.17 per hour
