Job summary

Barker Ross Group is recruiting PPT Drivers to join a leading logistics company based in Bardon, Coalville. If you're an experienced warehouse operative with a valid PPT licence and are seeking a long-term opportunity with weekly pay and a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with weekly rotating times (6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm). Pay rate is £13.70 per hour, with immediate starts available and ongoing long-term work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PPT licence with national accreditation preferred.
• In-house PPT licences may be considered with refresher training where needed.
• Previous warehouse or FLT experience is required.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork are important assets.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).
• Moving and storing palletised stock around the warehouse.
• Picking, packing and repacking products.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Carrying out goods-in and goods-out checks.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.

As a PPT Driver

As a PPT Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping the warehouse running efficiently. Your duties will include:

• Safely operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT)
• Moving and storing palletised stock around the warehouse
• Picking, packing and repacking products
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Carrying out goods-in and goods-out checks
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets
• Following all Health & Safety procedures
• Completing general warehouse duties as required

What We're Looking For

• A valid PPT licence (nationally accredited preferred)
• In-house PPT licences will also be considered, with refresher training provided where required
• Previous warehouse or FLT experience
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work well as part of a team
