Edge Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Fork Lift Truck Operative ideally holding both a BENDI and Counterbalance licence to join our clients' expanding business working in Bowburn.

The role involves navigating narrow aisles, ensuring loads are stable and within capacity, and communicating effectively with other staff to ensure safe working practices are adhered to. General tasks will include:

• Loading & Unloading: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from trailers, lorries, and other vehicles.
• Material Movement & Storage: Stacking, moving, and relocating merchandise and materials to and from storage bays, shelves, and other designated areas.
• Safety & Maintenance: Conducting daily pre-operational safety checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working order.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods.
• Load Management: Ensuring that all loads are properly secured, stable, and within the forklift's weight and load centre limits to prevent tipping.

You would be working either day shift, Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 5.00pm or late shift Monday to Friday between 11.00am and 8.00pm at a rate of £12.50 per hour.
