A leading distributor in Darwen is seeking a Nightshift Warehouse Operative to manage goods dispatch, order picking, and stock control. Essential qualifications include experience with a Counterbalance FLT and good communication skills. This role offers a dynamic work environment with no weekend shifts and opportunities for career advancement.

Location: Darwen
Starting: A.S.A.P.
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 4pm - 1.30 am
Friday - 2pm - 7.30 pm
Distributor of thermoplastic sheet
£26‑28k Basic, discretional bonus based on group, branch and individual performance.
Experience using a Counterbalance FLT is essential
Knowledge of using CNC machinery/schelling saws would be ideal

Owned by the global leader in the manufacture of acrylics, the distribution team is ideally placed to deliver excellence in supplying and supporting their customers. As part of its expansion the company is recruiting a Nightshift Warehouse operative for their distribution centre in Darwen, Blackburn; if successfully recruited you will experience a first‑rate working environment, free on‑site parking and numerous other benefits.
You will be involved in:
Following company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of safety at all times
Ensuring all stock is correctly unloaded, checked and stored in the correct locations.
You will have the following key skills:
The company is busy, and the role will be fast paced. Applicants should be physically fit and hard working.
There will be no working weekends (other than some overtime now and again) with this position and there is a shutdown over the Christmas period.
