Job summary

THG Manufacturing Tywyn is recruiting a Nights FLT Driver to join our warehousing team. You’ll support stock receiving, material supply to the factories, and outbound loading in a fast‑paced, food-safe environment. Shift: 4 on 4 off, 6pm–6am.

Qualifications

• Counter-balance FLT license and experience.
• Previous warehousing experience desirable.
• Good level of numeracy and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock is rotated and used in order of date expiry.
• Inspect materials prior to issuing to factory for damage or defect.
• Report or rectify any stock discrepancies when observed.
• Ensure all physical transactions are replicated on ERP/Stock Control system.
• Carry out daily inspections of FLT vehicles against supplied check sheets.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in yards and loading bays.

About the role:

The role will encompass all aspects of Warehousing from receiving deliveries, supplying the factories with materials to loading outbound orders, and everything in between. Completing tasks to maintain accurate stock levels, working safely and adhering to the adopted food safety standard.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure stock is rotated and used in order of date expiry
• Inspect materials prior to issuing to factory for damage or defect
• Report or rectify any stock discrepancies when observed
• Ensure all physical transactions are replicated on Stock Control computer system (ERP)
• Ensure warehouse facilitiesare secure at all times
• Comply withcompany ‘clean as you go’ policy specifically ensuring yards and loading bays are free from debris and food
• Liaise with delivery drivers and the Public tomaintaina harmonious working environment during busy delivery periods
• Take care of your own Health & Safety and that of those who may be affected by your actions
• Provide suggestions on ways of improving efficiency and reducing waste
• Work effectively as part of a team whilstmaintainingthe capability to function individually
• Carry out daily inspections of FLT vehicles against supplied check sheet, report defects
• Carry out any reasonable request in the most efficient way
• Respect and value other members of staff to create a positive working environment
• Have a responsibility for the food safety,Qualityand legality of finished product in conjunction with the tasks of their role
• Carry out baling activitiesfrom waste generated from production activities.
• Carry out high level cleaning where needed.

Qualifications

• Counter-balance FLT license and experience
• Previousexperience in warehousing would be desirable
• Good levelof computer literacy.
• Use of Excel and ERP/WMS system
• High levelof numeracy will berequiredfor all aspects of this role.
