Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client in Haydock. This ongoing temporary role offers 4 on/4 off shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) and potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

You will load/unload vehicles, move pallets, and support warehouse operations while following health and safety procedures. A valid FLT licence and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Double handler experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Able to pass on-site FLT assessment and interview.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Support warehouse and yard operations and move stock safely.
• Load and unload vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT.
• Move pallets and stock within the warehouse and yard.
• Support general warehouse operations when required.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.

Salary: £13.75 per hour (£15.57 per hour overtime)

Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

The Role

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse and yard operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock and materials throughout the site.

Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Moving pallets and stock within the warehouse and yard
• Supporting general warehouse operations when required
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
• Double handler experience is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to pass an on-site FLT assessment and interview
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
