Qualifications

• Must hold FLT license and suitable experience within a similar environment.
• Excellent team player and can communicate effectively.
• Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures within a warehousing environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove daily waste from production area as and when required.
• Ensure smooth co-ordination between production department and the warehouse.
• Ensure finished goods are fit for storage in the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Wrap all finished goods to customer specifications and report defects.
• Fill in daily paperwork correctly and keep it up to date.
• Check incoming consignments against documentation.
• Carry out daily shift tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping to the highest standard at all times.
• Ensure all duties are in accordance with health and safety practices.

FLT Driver - Warehouse

Milton Keynes (MK10)
DAYS ONLY & NIGHTS ONLY positions available (12 hour shifts)
Salaried £31,210 Per Annum + Excellent Benefits

At ALPLA, we stand for high-quality plastic packaging throughout the world. Around 22,000 colleagues produce quality packaging for foodstuffs, cosmetics and industrial cleaning brands for many blue chip clients across 182 ALPLA sites in 46 countries.

We now need to strengthen our Warehouse team and have the below requirement for FLT Drivers.

Responsibilities

• To remove daily waste from production area as and when required
• To ensure the smooth co-ordination between production department and the warehouse.
• To ensure finished goods are fit for storage in the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
• To ensure that all finished goods entering the warehouse are wrapped to the customer specifications and to report any defects to the appropriate team leader or head of department.
• To ensure that all daily paperwork is correctly filled in and up to date and to be able to update the computer system.
• To ensure that all incoming consignments are checked against documentation.
• To ensure that daily shift tasks are carried out:
• To ensure that the housekeeping is to the highest standard at all times.
• To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety practice.
• To perform any other duties in connection with the operation of providing a smooth running environment that may from time to time be requested.

Experience Required
