Job summary

Staffline are recruiting FLT Drivers to work for a Yorkshire pudding producer in Thorne, DN8 5JS. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with roles available on afternoon and night shifts.

Role 1 is 13:45-21:45, Monday to Friday, at £14.58 per hour. Role 2 is 21:45-05:45, Monday to Friday, at £16.30 per hour. Applicants within 15 miles of DN8 5JU are preferred and will join a busy warehouse environment with GMP practices and regular stock control tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence required.
• Experience in warehouse environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure boxing area has packaging requirements for next production run.
• Move finished goods to chilled or frozen storage.
• Load and unload vehicles and check raw material deliveries; log into stock system.
• Stock rotation and daily stock counts; pick orders for despatch.
• Coordinate with office and staff on daily orders; perform cleaning and paperwork.

Pay and Shift Details:

Role 1 - Afternoon

• Monday-Friday: 13:45pm to 9:45pm
• £14.58 per hour

Role 2- Nights

• Monday- Friday 9:45pm to 5:45am
• £16.30 per hour

Your Time at Work

As an FLT Driver, your duties include:

• Ensure that the boxing area has all the packaging requirements for the next production run and throughout shift
• Take all finished goods out of the boxing area and put them into the chilled or frozen storage area
• Load and unload vehicles as required, and check all raw material deliveries and put them in the appropriate place for storage before use, and enter onto stock control system
• Stock rotation
• Complete daily stock count and pick orders for despatch
• Communicate with office and staff regarding daily orders
• GMP's should be practised throughout the working - clean as you go
• Completion of all paperwork as required
• Carry out cleaning tasks involving the use of chemicals
• Carry out FLT safety checks
• With finished product, checks should be made that no damaged boxes of puddings go out to the customers
• Follow site safety procedures at all times (HACCP, COSHH, PPE etc.)
• To work as part of a team ensuring production flows as smoothly as possible
• Lifting involved, manual duties, working in hot and cold areas
