Barker Ross is recruiting a FLT Counterbalance Driver on behalf of a client based in Hams Hall, Birmingham.

Job Title: Counterbalance Driver

Location: Hams Hall, Birmingham

Pay Rate: £12.94 per hour

Duration: Temp-perm, ongoing

Shifts
  • Mon-Fri 22:00-06:00
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate counterbalance, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Stack and store materials in appropriate areas, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of reach trucks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid counterbalance certification/license.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Ability to operate counterbalance and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Goods in/out, stock checking experience.
