Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is seeking an enthusiastic person to join the flow cytometry facility at the Western General campus in the School of Genetics and Cancer. This role involves providing an efficient and reproducible cell sorting and cell analysis service to researchers using our state‑of‑the‑art flow cytometry instrumentation.

We are a large, vibrant research community with more than 70 principal investigators, 500 staff and 100 PhD students, and we are committed to flexible working

Job description

Grade UE06: £34,610 - £39,906 per annum

CMVM / School of Genetics and Cancer

Part-time: 28 hours per week

Fixed-term: 24 months

The institute of Genetics and Cancer (IGC) constitutes one of the largest aggregates of human molecular genetics and biology researchcapacity in the UK with more than 70 principal investigators, 500 staff and 100 PhD students.
