Job Details

We are looking for a passionate Floor Manager to join the Sora Sky Bar – a stunning one‑of‑a‑kind bar and restaurant offering an Asian Fusion tapa & cocktail experience. Located on the 7th floor of Malmaison Hotel with views over the Historic Minster, this role promises a proud workplace.

Training is a priority: you will undergo an interactive induction programme, join departmental training, and have access to apprenticeships and further career development.

Although the title is Floor Manager, the role requires a person who isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and lead from the front. The volume and pace are intense – you must demonstrate you’ve delivered volume in a previous role.

You’ll be a natural at delivering the ultimate guest experience and will have great people skills to manage a large team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional guest experience in a high‑volume environment.
  • Lead the team from the front, providing coaching and support.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring standards are maintained.
  • Take ownership of service delivery during peak periods.
  • Manage team scheduling and staffing levels.
  • Participate in training and gradually take on financial, stock and wages control responsibilities.
