Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is working with a client in London (TW2) to recruit a Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant. The role offers hybrid working and potential remote work, with a salary range of £35,000–£55,000 depending on experience.

You will conduct technical assessments, develop drainage strategies and hydraulic modelling for development projects, prepare reports and quotations, and liaise directly with clients throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Around 3-8 years’ relevant flood risk and drainage experience.
• Experience using Causeway Flow or MicroDrainage.
• 1D and 2D modelling experience using HEC-RAS, Flood Modeller or similar.
• AutoCAD experience and strong technical report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.
• Reviewing and interpreting flood modelling data.
• Producing technical reports, mapping and supporting figures.
• Planning and undertaking site investigations.
• Preparing project quotations and tenders.
• Liaising directly with clients throughout project delivery.
