Job summary

A growing environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant/Senior Consultant in the UK. This role involves delivering Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies across various sectors, including aviation and property. The position offers flexibility with hybrid working, a collaborative team environment, and engaging projects. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in tools like InfoDrainage and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.

• Experience with NPPF and SuDS Manual preferred.

Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant / Senior Consultant

London or Bristol (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our growing environmental consultancy.

You’ll deliver Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategies across a range of sectors, including property, renewables, and aviation.

You’ll work on projects from early strategy through to planning submission and discharge of conditions, including under Town and Country Planning and DCO regimes.

What You’ll Need

• 2 years + experience delivering FRAs and drainage strategies
• Proficient with InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and GIS
• Knowledge of NPPF and SuDS Manual
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Experience with TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, FEH or river restoration is a bonus.
