Flood Risk Consultant – Southampton

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the internal design team and with a Principal Flood Risk Consultant to produce and advise on flood risk and drainage strategies to accompany planning applications across major sectors, particularly for residential, energy, retail, industrial and commercial developments.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or similar
  • 1-3+ years post graduate experience, ideally in a consultancy background
  • Experience and an interest in flood risk / sustainable drainage strategy for private sector developments, energy, and regeneration projects
  • Knowledge of SuDS standard, and relevant software such as GIS and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of UK planning process for new developments, energy, and regeneration projects
