A leading engineering firm in Edinburgh seeks a Flooding Modeller / Engineer to support flood management projects. You will undertake detailed modelling, prepare reports, and manage contracts. Amey Engineering teams improve the environment and create sustainable flooding solutions across the UK, by working in partnership with a range of clients, providing consultancy design services for Local Authorities, Strategic and Local transport providers and organisations delivering National Infrastructure. Due to an increased workload, we are looking to recruit Flooding Modeller / Engineer. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Flooding and Water Management team in Scotland, providing effective support and assistance to the modellers and team leaders on a variety of flood schemes. We have been confirmed as the lead engineering consultant working with the NI Department for Infrastructure (DFI) on their Water and Departmental Delivery contract for the next five years, as well as NI Transport Asset Management and Translink contracts.
