Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a two-site practice near Bath and Bristol as a Float Vet. This 12-month fixed-term role offers potential to become permanent, with a varied general practice caseload and opportunities to work across multiple locations.

You will perform GP duties, including consultations and surgery, at a supportive, team-oriented clinic with access to digital X-rays, ultrasound, in-house labs, and a dental suite.

Qualifications

• You’ll need a veterinary degree and RCVS registration or eligibility.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive approach to learning with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, deliver high standards of patient and client care across a varied caseload.
