Job summary

Centric Talent is seeking a Flexographic Quality Control Inspector/Technician in Pershore to monitor and inspect quality throughout the production process. You will ensure prints meet customer specifications, company standards, and regulatory packaging requirements.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, reviewing specs, monitoring color/registration, and performing in-process quality checks across printing, lamination, and slitting.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control, preferably within flexographic printing or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of flexographic printing and converting processes.
• Understanding of print defects, colour matching, registration, and product specs.
• Experience using quality inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, printed materials, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Review job tickets and customer specs before and during production.
• Monitor print quality, including colour consistency and registration.
• Carry out regular in-process quality checks during printing, laminating, and slitting operations.
• Identify, record, and report quality defects or non-conforming products.
• Work with operators to investigate and correct quality issues.
• Quarantine or segregate defective materials according to procedures.
• Maintain quality-control records and traceability.
