Job summary

University College London Hospitals is seeking a Band 7 ACP Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist to join a large multidisciplinary team in paediatric psychotherapy. The post is fixed term for a career break cover until 05 March 2027 and part-time (22.5 hours per week) in London.

Applicants should have ACP training and extensive experience with children, adolescents and families within acute hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Training in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy at ACP recognised training school.
• Relevant post graduate study/research in infant observation, child development or related areas.
• Experience within large multidisciplinary teams and with children, adolescents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessments, liaison work and psychotherapy to children and young people in outpatient and inpatient care.
• Support treatment across medical teams with consultations and reflective practice.
• Maintain a varied caseload across department and collaborate with MDTs.
