Responsibilities

• Taking delivery of goods and signing delivery notes.
• Checking goods for missing or damaged items.
• Unloading goods by hand or with trolleys/forklift trucks.
• Stacking goods in the correct place.
• Keeping records of goods on a computer.
• Carrying out stock control regularly.
• Sometimes selling items to customers.
• Picking, weighing or packing goods for dispatch.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
