Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd in Birmingham is seeking flexible warehouse staff for day and night shifts. You will be involved in receiving deliveries, checking for damages, unloading, stacking goods, keeping stock records, and picking or packing items for dispatch.

Roles can be PAYE or self-employed with weekly pay. Benefits include a contributory pension, medical and dental cover, family cover, and about 50% company transport support. Weekend work may be available.

Qualifications

• Flexible with day and night shifts in Birmingham.
• Able to work alone and in a team; reliable and honest.
• Aware of health and safety regulations and committed to a neat, orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of goods and sign delivery notes or receipts.
• Check goods for missing or damaged items.
• Unload goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks.
• Stack goods in the correct place.
• Keep records of goods, normally on a computer.
• Carry out stock control on a regular basis.
• Sometimes sell items to customers.
• Pick, weigh or pack goods that have to be sent out.
• Keep the work areas clean and tidy.
