Job summary

Pet Care Vets in Erith is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, community-focused practice on a 3‑month fixed-term contract. The role offers flexibility: four 10-hour shifts (40 hours) or three days per week for the right candidate, with typical start times around 8:30–9:30am and one Saturday in four.

You will manage a varied first-opinion caseload including consultations, diagnostics, routine surgery and inpatient care, in a supportive team led by a Clinical Director.

Qualifications

• Experience in small animal general practice.
• Confident with routine consultations and surgery.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek support.
• Caring, personable approach with excellent communication.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
