Job summary

Mana Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Peterborough and surrounding areas, with opportunities across primary, secondary, SEN/SEND, and one-to-one support. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term, long-term, maternity cover, and permanent positions, with flexible full-time or part-time hours.

Experience in childcare or youth work is welcome, and training pathways or Level 2/3 TA qualifications are considered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in school settings.
• Relevant transferable experience from childcare, care or youth work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to不同 age groups and school needs.

Responsibilities

• Help the teacher prepare resources and support classroom activities.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Encourage positive behaviour, participation and independence.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development.
• Share observations with teaching staff and follow safeguarding procedures.
