Qualified candidates will possess GCSEs in English and Maths and a DBS check. Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils in mainstream or SEND classrooms.
• Familiarity with classroom routines and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning activities, individually or in small groups.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND pupils.
• Maintain records of pupil progress where required.
• Ensure the welfare and safety of all pupils.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff.
