Job summary

Academics are seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to primary schools across Worksop on a ad-hoc and short-term basis. If you're enthusiastic about making a difference in the classroom, this role is perfect for you!

Rate of pay: £92.56 to £95.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience). Working hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm. Flexibility to work across multiple schools in Worksop is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in education or working with children is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to process one.
• Flexibility to work across multiple primary schools in Worksop.
• NVQ/Cache Level 2-3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting primary school teachers with classroom management and pupil engagement.
• Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to students.
• Adapting to a variety of school environments in and around Worksop.
