Job summary

Aspire People is seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Brent. This flexible supply role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with immediate starts and competitive pay dependent on experience.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils' learning, wellbeing and development, work with teachers, and help create an inclusive, positive classroom environment across different settings in London Borough of Brent.

Qualifications

• Passionate about education and pupil development.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Experience in a school or childcare environment is preferred.
• DBS checks may be required in line with safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and routines.
