Job summary

Aspire People in Peterborough is seeking flexible Supply Teachers to cover Secondary, Primary, or SEN/SEMH settings across Peterborough and surrounding areas. Immediate starts available and a variety of placements to match your schedule.

You’ll join a supportive consultant network with weekly pay and opportunities to work in a range of schools, from daily cover to longer-term placements, including SEN needs.

Qualifications

• QTS desirable, but open to applicants working towards QTS or with relevant experience.
• Proactive and adaptable—comfortable in different classrooms and environments.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• A driving licence is beneficial for travel across Peterborough area.
• Experience with SEMH or other SEN is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects (matched to your experience).
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt to different school settings and diverse student needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to students and schools to support progression.
