Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer to cover Bournemouth, Yeovil, Christchurch and surrounding areas. The role requires a valid SIA licence, strong customer service and the ability to work across a 30-mile travel radius with a chosen vehicle.

Shifts span Mon–Sat 08:00–22:00 and Sun 10:00–17:00, with paid breaks and a minimum 8-hour contract, paying £15.00 per hour. As a relief officer you will protect property, people and assets, perform patrols,

Qualifications

• Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to make instant, positive connections with store teams
• Self-starter, can act without direction
• Report writing skills essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Use ASCONE to maintain the security of the site
• Conduct regular patrols of the site
• Deliver customer service to both staff and visitors
• Support the staff with any reasonable request
• Ensure the relevant reports are completed in order for accurate information to be recorded
• Call emergency services and Control Room to report all serious incidents
