Job summary

Vmoves Fleet Solutions is seeking self-employed HGV drivers to collect, inspect and deliver commercial vehicles nationwide, backed by an experienced planning team and 24/7 driver support.

Typical earnings are £800 to £1,100+ per week, with up to £60 per night for overnight stays and enhanced fees for weekends. Flexible assignments and weekly self-billing payments support independent work.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with the appropriate HGV entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR, CD, DD or TT99 endorsements.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass a DBS check.
• Confident using a smartphone to photograph vehicles and record inspection information.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Comfortable using public transport between assignments and working away when required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver HGVs and commercial vehicles safely and professionally across the UK.
• Inspect vehicle condition and record accurate photographs and information using our app.
• Keep customers and our planning team updated.
• Plan onward travel between vehicles using trains, buses, taxis or walking.
• Follow road safety, customer and DVLA trade plate requirements.
• Stay overnight or go via home – up to 3-4 nights per week.
• Training provided on our systems and travelling between movements.
