Job summary

Local Hospice Lottery is seeking a self-employed fundraiser in the Brighton & Worthing area to engage the public face-to-face and promote our weekly lottery, signing up supporters for vital hospice care.

You will manage your own schedule, receive a £30 commission per supporter sign-up, enjoy weekly pay and have the potential to earn £70,000+ per year. Flexible working, full training and ongoing support are provided across established territories.

Qualifications

• Previous face-to-face fundraising or direct sales experience (essential).
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• The confidence to approach and engage with members of the public.
• A resilient, positive and target-driven attitude.
• Strong self-motivation and organisational skills.
• A professional and reliable approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with members of the public face-to-face.
• Promoting the Local Hospice Lottery and securing new supporters.
• Fundraising door-to-door and at pre-arranged private venues.
• Managing your own schedule and activity levels.
• Completing supporter registrations using our digital platform.
• Representing a trusted not-for-profit organisation in a professional manner.
