Job summary

Academics is seeking qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to provide flexible, short-term cover across Cheshire areas including Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Northwich and Winsford.

Role involves delivering pre-set lessons, managing behaviour, and supporting continuity of learning across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 opportunities.

Daily rates range from £130 to £200 DOE, with no planning or marking, flexible schedules and 24/7 agency support.

Qualifications

• UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS).
• Secondary Supply Teacher experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Willing to travel to Cheshire & Staffordshire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lessons and maintain student engagement.
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
• Ensure classroom behaviour is managed effectively.
• Support continuity of learning during staff absence.
