Job summary

Ivy Resource Group in Gloucestershire is seeking a flexible Secondary Supply Teacher to support multiple local schools across Cheltenham, Gloucester and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver engaging lessons to KS3-KS4, adapt to different settings, follow school policies and maintain a positive learning environment.

This role suits QTS holders, experienced or returning teachers, with enhanced DBS and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and positive approach.
• Ability to travel to schools across Gloucestershire.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3-KS4 (KS5 opportunities available depending on subject).
• Follow school policies and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively and build rapport with students.
• Provide continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.
• Adapt quickly to new settings and curriculum needs.
