Job summary

Academics is seeking a proactive Secondary Cover Supervisor for The Wirral with immediate start. You will supervise a range of secondary classes, deliver set work, and support student learning across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates will have experience with teenagers or young people in education or youth settings, strong classroom management, and excellent communication. An Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply is required. Flexible full-/part-time daily shifts offered.

• Experience with teenagers or young people in education, youth work, sports coaching, or mentoring.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply.
• Ability to adapt to new school environments across The Wirral.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in diverse secondary classrooms and maintain order.
• Deliver set work and learning resources provided by absent teachers.
• Support student learning and manage group dynamics.
• Offer flexible availability for daily, short-term, or long-term placements.
