Childbase Partnership is seeking a Relief Nursery Practitioner for Greengables Day Nursery in Owlsmoor, Sandhurst (GU47 0TE). This permanent, ad-hoc role offers varied shifts from 07:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday, across a friendly, employee-owned nursery group.

You’ll support babies and under-5s with play, observations, and EYFS activities, maintain safeguarding, and collaborate with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for babies and children aged five and under in an early years setting.
• Knowledge of child development and EYFS guidance is advantageous.
• Ability to contribute to observations for learning journeys.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief care and cover across shifts from 07:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday.
• Support children's learning through play and structured activities.
• Collaborate with the nursery team and parents to ensure safe, warm environments.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and wellbeing of children at all times.
