Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a Qualified Supply Teacher (QTS) for flexible day-to-day cover in Southampton. You will teach pre-planned lessons, adapt to different subjects and year groups, and focus on classroom management with minimal planning or marking.

Enjoy a balanced schedule with standard hours 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, choose days to work, and earn £130–£160 per day based on experience. DBS check required or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• QTS or UK equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong behaviour management skills with authority
• High adaptability and excellent communication abilities
• Valid Enhanced DBS check on Update Service or willing to apply

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups.
• Maintain a structured, positive, and safe learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Leave detailed handover notes for the regular class teacher.
• Ensure pupils remain on task and complete set work.
