Job summary

Ripple Education is seeking qualified Primary Teachers for Peterlee and surrounding areas. We offer flexible and long-term placements with weekly pay and access to training and professional development.

Ideal candidates will hold QTS, have primary school experience, strong classroom management, safeguarding knowledge, and a proactive, adaptable approach to different school environments. Applications from ECTs are welcome.

Qualifications

• QTS required and current teaching entitlement.
• Experience teaching within a primary school and ability to manage a classroom.
• Excellent planning, assessment and knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong safeguarding understanding and commitment to pupil welfare.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and the school community.
• Flexible, proactive approach to working in different school environments.
• ECTs welcome and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive, safe learning environment for all pupils.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school staff; follow policies and procedures.
• Adhere to Ripple Education safeguarding procedures at all times.
