Qualifications

• Essential: QTS or UK-recognised equivalent
• Essential: Recent UK primary teaching experience or ECT induction completed
• Essential: Confident behaviour management and strong communication
• Essential: Commitment to safeguarding children
• Essential: Right to work in the UK
• Essential: Willingness to complete full registration and compliance process
• Desirable: EYFS/KS1/KS2 experience
• Desirable: SEND/EAL experience
• Desirable: Phonics or maths mastery
• Desirable: DBS Update Service
• Desirable: Flexibility for short-notice/long-term bookings
• Desirable: ECTs welcome

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver structured, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Maintain high standards of behaviour
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom
• Monitor progress, mark work and provide feedback
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures
• Report safeguarding concerns to the DSL
• Communicate with school staff, leadership and parents/carers
