Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a Primary Supply Teacher for Middlesbrough and surrounding areas. You’ll cover pre-planned lessons, adapt to KS1 and KS2, and maintain continuity of learning across local schools.

Flexible short-term, long-term, and day-to-day placements are available, with regular bookings and weekly PAYE pay. A proactive, professional approach and strong behaviour management will help you thrive in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• QTS in the UK is essential.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexibility and confidence adapting to different school environments.
• A positive, professional, and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Creating engaging learning environments that keep pupils motivated.
• Adapting quickly to different school settings and classroom routines.
• Managing behaviour with confidence and consistency.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Ensuring children remain on track with their learning throughout placement.
