Job summary

Randstad is seeking a qualified primary teacher to support local primary schools as a supply teacher. You can choose the days you work each week using the booking system Sirenum, updating your availability and diary.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, use your subject knowledge to bring set work to life, and manage classroom behaviour with a focus on pastoral support. DBS update, UK eligibility, and references are required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the update service is required.
• A degree qualification in teaching (PGCE) with QTS.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
• Must provide 2 teaching references.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship unavailable).

Responsibilities

• Teaching and learning responsibility.
• Delivering pre-planned lessons (you can have your evenings back).
• Using your own subject knowledge to bring set work to life.
• Managing behaviour within the classroom.
• Developing independent study and peer learning.
• Pastoral and learning support.
• Handover management back to the absent teacher.
