Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is hiring Primary Supply Teachers in Clevedon for flexible short-term and longer-term placements, with many roles running through to Christmas or the full academic year. The positions offer a dynamic, supportive setting focused on creativity, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.

Roles cover KS1/KS2, involve adapting lessons for year groups, and require QTS and solid primary curriculum knowledge.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Confidence teaching across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Flexible, reliable and confident adapting to different school environments.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and diversity.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach across KS1 and KS2, adapting lessons to suit different year groups and abilities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ learning, progress, and individual development.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners.
• Maintain effective classroom management and high expectations of behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.
• Promote a safe, supportive learning environment.
