Job summary

Axcis Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work across Gloucester and Cheltenham, with flexible days and opportunities ranging from short-term to long-term placements. You will teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with daily pay of £140–£190 depending on experience.

Qualified teachers with QTS or equivalent are invited to apply. You can choose 1–5 days per week across a network of 31+ schools, gaining variety and a supportive education consultant.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Experience in a primary school setting (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
• Able to quickly adapt to new environments and classroom routines.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and passionate about making a positive impact on children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Step into a variety of classroom environments and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the class teacher and school.
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.
• Support pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing throughout the day.
• Work across a range of primary schools to gain experience in different settings.
