Job summary

Cohens Chemist is recruiting a Zero-Hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a fixed-term 12-month contract for our Blackpool branch. The role involves delivering prescriptions to homes and care facilities, with mileage reimbursed and a discretionary bonus potential.

You will need good people skills and the ability to work within branch hours. Applicants should be prepared to use their own vehicle with business-use insurance and to plan daily routes.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills and customer service focus.
• Flexible to work within branch opening times (Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00).
• Very basic computer skills to plan routes.
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver prescriptions on time.
• Must be able to use own vehicle for deliveries with business-use insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and represent the Cohens brand.
• Plan and print daily routes in-branch before starting deliveries.
• Support PR activities to help grow the business.
