Job summary

Academics is seeking a PPA Cover Teacher to work across primary schools in Doncaster. You will provide planned cover across EYFS to KS2, adapting to different year groups and school planning. This role offers flexible start dates and the opportunity for ongoing supply work with potential longer-term placements.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has experience in primary settings, and can manage diverse classrooms while maintaining high standards of pupil engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and primary teaching experience.
• Confident teaching across EYFS–KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Flexible and adaptable approach; DBS Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Provide PPA and general classroom cover
• Follow school planning and curriculum requirements
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
• Support pupils with their learning and development
• Adapt teaching approaches for different year groups
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
