Job summary

Millennium Park Pharmacy in Jersey is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant on a 25-hour contract. The role runs 9am-2pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility. You will perform duties from assisting customers to handling prescriptions, tills and stock, in a friendly team environment.

No prior experience is required; a can-do attitude and good customer service are valued. The package includes benefits and a pension scheme, with a focus on development and supportive culture.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary – we'll welcome you into our team and show you around.
• A reasonable level of physical fitness is required, as the role involves receiving, moving and storing stock, including occasionally lifting heavier items.

Responsibilities

• Customer service at the front counter and sale of over-the-counter medicines.
• Liaising between patients and the pharmacist and taking in and giving out prescriptions.
• Working on the till and cash handling.
• Maintaining stock and ordering merchandise.
• Shop maintenance, housekeeping and shelf filling.
