Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Support Worker at our independent mental health hospital. This casual, part-time role offers flexible working patterns and is designed to cover leave and sickness across the year.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours, using empathy and good communication to help them live as independently as possible, while ensuring dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, warmth and resilience are valued.
• A genuine interest in patients' lives and the ability to build trust.
• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex and challenging behaviours.
