Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) to support a care home with flexible, part-time hours. You will look after residents’ physical, psychological and social needs, applying your clinical judgment to ensure safe, high-quality care and tailored care planning.

You’ll work within regulatory guidelines, focusing on risk assessments and DoLs/MCA considerations while delivering compassionate, person-centered care and medicines safety.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and up‑to‑date clinical practices.
• Experience producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored care plans for residents.
• Administer and monitor medications safely.
• Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support residents’ wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain high care standards.
