A community support organization in Uckfield is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant for a flexible part-time role. The position involves offering companionship, providing transportation for errands and leisure activities, and caring for a much-loved dog. Ideal candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with pets. Previous experience is not required; a caring attitude is key.
Are you a compassionate, reliable individual looking for a flexible part‑time role where no two days are the same? We are building a small, trusted team of Personal Assistants to provide occasional but meaningful support—typically once every two weeks (currently every three weeks) with the potential for more regular hours as we find the right people. This role is ideal for someone who values connection and variety in their work.
You'll be offering companionship, helping with outings, and providing transportation—whether it’s running errands, heading out for a walk, or enjoying a relaxed afternoon somewhere new. While Thursday afternoons are currently the most common time we need help, we’re very flexible and happy to discuss and arrange hours that work for both sides. Because this role involves spending time with a much‑loved dog, being a genuine dog lover is a must.
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
